PSBA-Manila DRM Unit to participate in the upcoming 9th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2021 Virtual Webinar


September 13, 2021 – The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Unit, Graduate School of Business (GSB), Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA), Manila will be participating in the upcoming 9th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD)! The 2021 conference theme is Research for Impact: An Inclusive and Sustainable Planet. This year’s ICSD will be completely virtual and held from September 20-21, 2021. Prof. Dr. Tabassam Raza will be representing the PSBA. Indeed, Prof. Dr. Raza will be moderating a Parallel Session 3B with the Theme: Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in Land Use and Development Planning on September 20, 2021, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Philippines Time). Prof. Dr. Raza will be joined by Prof. Dr. Hussain Lidasan and Prof. Carmelita Liwag both from the School of Urban and Regional Planning, University of the Philippines, Quezon City.

All the school faculty members, staff, undergraduate and graduate school students are encouraged attending the Conference due to the reason that the ICSD is the top academic international conference for discussing sustainable development issues. The parallel sessions include over 300 oral and poster presentations from researchers and development practitioners from across the world, presenting their work on topics ranging from gender equity to climate change to economic development, all focused on solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
