Lahore College for Women University, Pakistan holds International Conference “Architecture Education Towards Disaster Mitigation”

November 09, 2019 — Lahore College of Women University (LCWU), Pakistan in partnership with the Philippine School of Business Administration – Manila (PSBA-Manila) will hold Architecture Education Towards Disaster Mitigation Conference with the theme “Enhancing Architects’ Understanding of Cultural Heritage at Risk from Natural and Manmade Hazards Impact Towards Archaeological Sites’ Conservation” to be held from 20th to 22nd November, 2019 at the Iqra Auditorium Lahore College For Women University, Lahore.

Hon. Mayor Josefina “Joy” Belmonte-Alimurung of Quezon City was invited as Key Note speaker to present “Working of Local Government related Determinants of Success in the Quezon City: Mentoring the youth towards Women Empowerment”. In addition, the Hon. Mayor Belmonte-Alimurung and Dr. Tabassam Raza, Associate Dean and Director, Disaster Risk Management Unit, Graduate School of Business, PSBA-Manila will co-present “Understanding of Cultural Heritage at Risk from Natural and Manmade Hazards and its Impact on Tourism in the Philippines’ Context”.
