PSBA-Manila & OCD-NCR signed Disaster Risk Reduction Partnership
August 01, 2019, The Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) and Office of Civil Defense (OCD), National Capital Region (NCR) held the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) culminating ceremony 2019 last Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Dimalupig Hall A, Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers Clubhouse, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. During the NDRM culminating ceremony, OCD-NCR Regional Director Romulo Cabantac Jr. and PSBA-Manila President Dr. Jose Peralta signed a letter of intent (LOI) for “FUTURE COLLABORATION” between the two organizations. The partnership agreement is to strengthen the need for education courses to meet the challenges in disaster risk reduction and management.
Dr. Tabassam Raza, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Business (GSB), PSBA- Manila & Director of DRM Unit and Ms. Shelby Ruiz, DRRM Division Head of OCD-NCR both signed as witnesses.
