PSBA-Manila DRM Unit to present Research Paper at ICBR Lisbon’2018

November 13, 2018 — The Philippine School of Business Administration – Manila (PSBA-Manila) Disaster Risk Management Unit (DRM Unit) under the Graduate School of Business (GSB) will be presenting a research paper on the 8th International Conference on Building Resilience, also known as the ICBR Lisbon’2018, to be held on November 14-16, 2018 at the University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal. The conference will have a theme “Risk and Resilience in Practice: Vulnerabilities, Displaced People, Local Communities and Heritages”.

The Building Resilience Conference is an annual international conference exploring how resilience can enable society to cope with natural and human induced hazards. The ICBR Lisbon’2018 is organised by the University of Lisbon, the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and the Global Disaster Resilience Centre at the University of Huddersfield (UK), in association with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR).

Dr. Tabassam Raza, Associate Dean of PSBA-Manila GSB and Director of the DRM Unit will be presenting a research paper entitled “Climate-Related Disasters Challenges for Sustainable Development: Innovating a Science and Policy Framework towards Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Quezon City, Philippines”.
