
GSB DRM-Unit of PSBA-Manila to Present a Research Poster in the International Conference Water Science for Impact at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), The Netherlands
October 13, 2018 – The Graduate School of Business (GSB) Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Unit, Philippine School of Business Administration – Manila (PSBA-Manila) represented by Dr. Tabassam Raza, Associate Dean and Director DRM Unit and Mr. Ramon Iñigo M. Espinosa, DRM-Unit E-Learning Coordinator will be presenting a research poster on “Science and Policy Framework for Urban Water Sufficiency during Extreme Weather Disastrous Impact: Adaptation Action Plan of Quezon City, Philippines” at the International Conference Water Science for Impact on October 16-18, 2018 at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in Wageningen, The Netherlands.
The conference will focus on the interaction between science and society in developing solutions for pressing water related problems as identified in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The aim and scope of Water Science for Impact will focus on water quality and quantity in the broadest sense. The conference brings together leaders in science, policy, and the public and private sectors to examine water science from a multidisciplinary perspective. Water science is crucial to expanding our understanding of water quality and quantity related issues that humankind encounters. Such understanding is key towards identifying critical water-related challenges, developing novel solutions and implementing steps that contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals.
